help...oil plugs in head....

ok im changin injectors in my truck and i got up to the point of taking the oil plug things out...(idk what they are called there is 2 on each side) but any way they guy that had the truck before me must have stripped them out b.c there is nothin to get a hold of............so what i was wonderin is will it hurt the truck if i just dont drain the oil from the head???? i mean im still gonna pull the glow plugs to blow the oil out of the cylinders but can i still go on and not drain the oil????
