1996 F350 PSD- engine light intermitant

Please help, I'm lost. I have an intermittant check engine light coming on at highway speeds for a few minutes then going off and the engine sounds fine. Other times when you let off the foot feet to say turn into the driveway or backup it dies. Nothing is ever consistant and my truck is not getting as good of mileage as it was. I had the lift pump replaced last year and I recently replaced the cam positon sensor. Is it the injector pump regulator?

im having same problem let off throttle and run like crap. turn off and restart it does good until let off again. check engine light comes on every time. did you figure out the problem yet Please email me if you did. adelhomme@centurytel.net
