Unhappy Oil Leak

Just came back from the store and oil is pouring from underneath truck.Drain plug and filter are tight.Oil all over engine compartment. Only seems to leak when running. Appears to be coming from top of motor.Are there any oil lines that could have broke that i can't see. Any help would be apprec. 2000 f250 7.3 6speed 175.000miles

oil leak found

Found the oil leak today. It was a broken o-ring on high pressure oil pump end fitting.Bought o-ring kit from ford and oil leak is gone.

check behind the fuel filter on top of motor, see if any oil, mine was coming out of the (high pressure oil pump) below the filter

Glad you got it fixed!

Now that you know how much they charge and how to fix it... next time just buy the ORings from a hydraulic shop... at $0.25 per Oring.
