New Noise

Hey Gang:

I am running a '03 with a 7.3. A knocking sound just started on the front left side when facing the engine. I took the belt off to make sure that it was not a bad bearing. I do have power and haven't seen smoke. When I get the RPMs above 1300, the noise goes away.

Any Clues?

Get this, I go out to start it, and no noise. I rev up the engine and it starts.

Here is a wav file - I had to zip the file - any thoughts?? I am hoping after reading it is an injector vs a rod - the sound is like metal grinding on metal when it occurs - similar to the sound of an AC clutch going out! HELP
