ok, Everything seemed pretty good after cleaning up the engine & reseating the boots. But, tonight, I went for a short ride & could hear what sounded like a vacuum leak.....and I had NO BOOST AT ALL!!! So, I got to the mechanics shop which was closed & checked my gauge line, it keeps coming out. It was FINE!! Everything 'seems' fine! When I got back in & left, it was normal again!! I'm going to kill it!!!!

It only does this crap at nite on icy roads (not really, but it seems that way)
I'm not sure why I was hearing such a OBVIOUS vacuum sound, ANYONE GOT A CLUE???
Wastegate, EBPV or tube??? HELLLLPPPP

maybe you just sucked a civic through the intake? happens to alot of guys on here

maybe its something with the gauge itself. could have sprung a leak inside there, and is blowing out in the pillar?

just a thought, i could be totally wrong here

Checked & rechecked. But wouldn't it STILL be doing it? It went from zero boost back up to normal & the 'vacuum' sound was gone. Whether it was a vacuum sound or hiss, not sure. Thats why I checked the boots 1st!! after the line
what does it sound like if the wastgate or ? else gets stuck open or closed???

the trans gauge did something odd, it steamed up tonight! THAT WAS WEIRD!

Where was the sound comming from, under the hood or the passanger compartment?

Is the truck cold when it's doing it? Are you sure it's not the EBPV?
