Completely Lost

i have a 2001 f-350 with the 7.3 powerstroke and an automatic transmission. it will run fine until at running temp. The motor sims to bog down and not want to shift into overdrive. The throttle doesn't sim to respond. I have taken this truck to two different ford dealer and had their tech look at it. I have replace the HPOP, ICP, IPR, CPS, and the number 8 injector. The air filter as well as the fuel filter have been changed. If driving and the problem starts i can put it in neutral and the truck will idle fine. It only has the problem while under a load. The techs ran a fuel pressure test and they said that it is a the right psi. This is VERY urgent i need this truck to run correctly in order to work.

I would check the wiring harness that runs through the valve cover gaskets. make sure you have good connections inside and out. I had a similar problem and all that was wrong was one of my harness's did not have a good connection on the inside of the valve cover. The thing ran like a wore out 4 banger but idled fine.

Mine did because it was kinda loose so somtimes it would make a good connection and run fine then it seemed like i would hit a small bump or somthin and break the connection and it would run like crap. Not sure if thats your problem or not but maybe its somthin to look at sounds like your have spent abunch of money already.

Yes i have spent alot the truck. But i don't work without having the truck running right. So it is a double edge sword. Spend the money and hope it fixes the truck or don't work and can't feed my family

The valve cover harnesser are notorious for causing problems and it gets worse the warmer the truck gets. I replaced mine and it pulled away easily and the new one snapped in good.
