06 F350 6.0 Not Starting
I tried to post this earlier, and think it disapeared into my internet machine so here goes try #2. I have been lurking around here for awhile trying to learn about my new 2006 F350's 6.0L because I am new to the world of diesels. This site has helped a lot with the basic information and how-to's. I had not planned on posting anything, but as of Saturday I need some help. I drove the truck about 5 miles to Little Creek Amphib base to run some errands. Didn't have any weird noises or idiot lights on the way there. About 30 min later I tried to start the truck with no joy. It would turn over, but didn't want to fire. I popped the hood and looked around like I knew what I was doing and didn't see anything out of the ordinary. When I looked under the truck, there was about 4 qt's of oil already on the ground and more coming. I couldn't see where it was coming from exactly, but it was forward of the oil pan. It's at the shop now, thanks to the $85 towing fee because the free towing service that Ford provides ended Febuary 9, 2009. I'm looking for any advice you guys can give me so when they call I can have some informed questions. Thanks for the help.
