lost rpms,wont accelerate,now wont start
driving 40mph and the truck seemed to bog down..drove another mile and it wouldnt accelerate for nothing..pedal to the floor in neutral and it climbed to 2200 rpms slowly..just happened all the sudden..pulled over to check out and it wouldnt start.this is not a good way to start the new year. dtc codes present are p1000, p2285(icp densor circuit low), and v0105(loss of communication with the FICM)..any ideas..seems like a fuel problem to me...??

2285 is an icp circuit code ,they had some problems with the connector ,may be youre problem

that u 0105 ,checked into that a little ,do the injectors buzz when you cycle the key?

yea the connector was done and the injectors buzz when the key cycles, is it possibly an injector problem maybe?

What is your ICP pressure during cranking? This sounds to me by symptom anyway....like a gross leak in the HP oil system. The two most common leak points are the top of the injectors where the oil rails connect and also the quick connect at the HPOP......

like marc said check icp pressure cranking has to be 500 lbs to start ,if alot lower look into hp oil system , depending on production date , hpop fitting or pump itself in 03 would come apart internally and clog ipr regulator ,pull out ipr and look for damaged screen , sign of bad pump ,alot of tear down to diag high pressure oil concern ,if you can also verify 45 lbs of fuel pressure even though you have oil press. code ,nice to just eliminate that as a problem

Just A Thought For Ya. I Had A Similar Issue With Mine But The Egr Valve Stuck Wide Open And The Smoke Just Billowed Out And Then She Died On Me While I Was Trying To Get To An Exit. Mine Had A Bunch Of Funky Codes That It Threw But It Ended Up Being The Egr And After It Was Replaced I've Had No Problems Since.
