Excursion won't start -PLEASE HELP-

I have a 2000 Excursion 7.3, Edge programmer, Banks exhaust. My truck ran trouble free until this past weekend. We pulled into a parking lot shut the truck down, came back out and the engine would not start.
I checked all the fuses, swapped relays around, checked fuel switch inside cab, I removed the cap from the fuel bowl and plenty of fuel, I replaced the cps, when I hooked my programmer up to pull codes I get P1260 (fuel pump speed relay) as per my programmer. When I looked up code P1260 on the internet it comes up (theft detected, vehicle immobilize) if any one has any insight of this issue I sure would appreciate some guidance.

Sounds like it did a security lock-out via the fuel pump there... Maybe look in the manual or around to see if there's a way to reset it..? Someone will chime in here that knows better. So

Sounds like somethings up with your (PATS) passive anti-theft system. Try disconnecting your batteries for a while and see if it clears the code.

I disconnected the batteries, and after reconnecting, my truck started. I don't know yet if this solved my problem, but my truck is running. Thank You for your help
