2003 6.0 downpipe

Im trying to get a downpipe off my cousins truck and the thing wont budge...i loosened the clamp at the top but the damn thing wont come off

no with a torch, but starting it may work. But makr sure you got some gloves or you burn your hands.

ok it finally came off but now how in the "H" do you get the damn thing out of there i tried everything

You either have to cut it in half with a sawzall (recommended) or remove the tranny support crossmember if you need to save it for some reason.

I did cut it in half to be able to get it by the cross member...but i cant get the thing out of the engine bay cause of the curve at the top of the downpipe hits the firewall and the up pipes? and i cannot get a saw in there to cut it off
