bad mileage

i have a 2000 ford superduty powerstroke with 62000 miles. lately it has started using exseccive amounts of fuel, 6mpg. i have a hypertech programmer on there but its been on there for 3 years, 4'' streight exaust and k@n air filter. i tow a 6000lbs trailer at 1600 rpm and go throught almost a half tank to go 70 miles. any help would be great. thanks

you either have a serious leak in your fuel bowl or someone is stealing fuel at night....ive never heard of anything that bad. Injectors are toast maybe and dumping tons o' fuel in? You notice any abnormal black clouds behind you?
