Just died

I was pulling my camper, probably went 25 miles, all the while the truck seemed to not have much power, i could not shift into 6th (couldnt keep speed up) came to an intersection and it DIED, would not recrank, now while cranking i have no oil pressure on the idiot gauge.. PLEASE HELP I have to drive it to work tomorrow..

Does the tach. jump while cranking?

Your CPS (Camshaft Position Sensor) probably crapped out. There was an open recall on them. You could check with Ford and have them run your VIN# to see if your truck is affected.

I did have that changed at the dealer about 6 months ago.

Sounds to me like it's bad again. If they didn't get the gap right, that can cause it to fail prematurely.

ok so i will try to get another one, autozone and orielly are the only things open today, are they good for those parts??

Don't even know if they carry them. Ford should take care of it for you since they did it 6 months ago. Only thing is, you are without your truck.

Thanks I will keep this thread up to date as I change things, nice day to work on the truck, its supposed to be near 70' today
