loosing power

hey guys i was on my way home just got off the interstate and merging into traffic (alot of idiots around here have to make my own room) but i got on it alittle to speed up about 3/4 throttle and the truck rpms went up like normal but truck wouldnt go anywhere/no power and felt kinda like a gasser hitting ignition cut or something.

help me out please im pretty new to diesel.
