Help, No Start, Please!!!!

Started my 2004 6.0 this morning so my brother could move his truck and ran it for about 10 minutes. shut it off. About 20 minutes later went to go to work and it would not start. Head lights were bright but had no dash lights. can hear fuel pump running and stuff but i have nothing. Tried to jump start and still nothing. disconnected batteries and tried to jump from another 6.0 to the cables and still getting the same thing. starter tries to engage but acts like a dead battery. any ideas where to start?
