7.3 turbo
im in the process of rebuilding the turbo on my truck, and on the turbine half of it is ate away about 1/4 to 1/2 an inch lower than the other half. i was wondering is this normal or do i need to tear into it farther to figure out what caused this??? thanks again in advance

that looks horrible....it kind of looks like something got sucked through the intake, or it could be like cob said and it got hotter than hell
