white smoke on start up hydrolocking 6.0

2004 early 6.0,
Intermittent issue hydrolock then alot of white smoke for a min then clears up. No codes, no misses runs perfect just smokes. Every thing is rebuilt, replaced, or removed. ARP studs, 175cc stock injectors, egr and cooler delete. I have been chasing the gremlins out of the new engine thinking it my be an injector issue. I do have sludge on valve cover oil cap its white/yellow not sure if thats normal. When I open the cap when running no blow by, but once it warms up seems like there is steam coming out. Not sure it thats normal

just changed the oil no shavings the oil was a med brown color. Only had 2000 miles on it. I pulled the glow plugs to see if they were we but they were covered in fresh oil.turned the motor over and all the cylinders misted oil. Oil coming from the glow plug opening being at the bottom of the head.

Any imput would be greatly appreciated!

Have you checked the injector cups in the heads. The white smoke sounds like fuel is getting on top of the cylinder. Ive had lower orings blow on injectors from them not being tightened enough but usually that problem dosent go away without replacing the oring, also you might have an injector leaking fuel I know MUI injectors are famous from that but never personally heard a HEUI injectors doing that.

I'm gonna pull them today and take a look. It should be obvious if the cup went bad right?

Please help!!! Pulled valve cover and it was caked with white sludge! There is definitely coolant in the oil. When I drained the fual log there is a red tint to the oil from coolant. Pulled the injectors didnt see any damage to o-rings copper cup at base looks fine. Put a pressure test on the coolant system and its definitely leaking.

Put 20 lbs of pressure on system and it dropped 4 lbs over 2 hours and about an inch in degas bottle. The engine only has around 3k miles on it and the only thing I reused was the oil cooler that only had a few hunderd miles on it. Heads were resurfaced and ARP studs were installed. The only thing I can think of is the cooler or maybe a bad seal some where?

No oil in degas bottle, no codes, no over heat, no visual coolant leaks no loss of power. Just started hydrolocking then itll smoke clear up and run fine.

Thanks

if your oil cooler is not damaged...then the only other way your oil can mix with water is the front cover.what kind of cooler and gasket did you use.a buddy of mine got one of those 75 dollar oil coolers off ebay withe purple gasket and with in 2k miles guess what.
