need some help, no start

ok 07 550 6.0 died on me today while driving, no studder noise or lights came on it just died. i have good flow up to the secondary filter. i think this might be something tied into the high oil pressure system, and it gave no codes. please help asap this is my work truck and i am the only field mechanic on this crew, i just got screwed into the position of head mechanic of everything when my crew split into two. i went on one crew then my three other mechanics stayed on the original. ps i am a good mechanic but i am not in the know for all of the powerstroke terms, so if you give me a term like ics please tell me what it is, lol im sick of googling different terms. thanks in advance for all help

Fuel gauge working? I have had a couple go out on me( not in my psd) and i ran out of fuel and the truck just died like you said

twenty things can cause this truck not to start , need more info, fuel to secondary filter may be there but does it have pressure , really need to get it on a scanner , what scanner did you use , if its not can capable wont work with a 6.0

ok yes it has fuel, i filled both tanks last night, 50+ gallons.

as for the scanner i just used a crappy little actron i got from advanced auto parts. it is the autoscan plus, a real crappy 150 dollar scanner. i did notice it did really do crap when i had it hooked up.
