Turbo Leaking Oil Into Exhaust Pipe
![]() What would cause the turbo in my truck to leak oil (INTERNAL) down into the exhaust pipe? My truck is smoking white when I drive for a while and come to a stop. How can I check where the leak is coming from? Some say it could be the pedestal O-ring other's say it's the internal O-rings in the turbo. Fact is, oil is leaking inside the turbo into the exhaust and burning-White Smoke. Any suggestions, tips. Thanks. |

Yeah they have been known to go bad. You can pull it apart pretty easily by yourself and see what the insides look like.
