07 f250 no start!! 0 icp reading?

Hi,

I have a 07 f250 6.0. While driving it for about 20 minutes it stalled in the middle of the road. The truck showed zero oil pressure on the gauge while cranking.

Purchased a scangauge 2.

Cranking

Icp disconnected while cranking

Please advise me as to what maybe the issue.

Thanks

If the gauge doesn't read oil pressure, its likely a base engine or oil pump concern. To verify oil pump operation, remove the oil filter. Depress the check valve in the bottom of the oil filter housing (black plastic button), and have a helper crank the engine over. The filter housing should fill very quickly. If it does not, and the oil level is ok, you have an oil pump issue. Not HP oil pump, engine oil pump.
