she put in about 4 gallons of gas in his truck witch the low fuel light came on, i told him to drain the tank whats the easiest way to do this? i also told him to put some two stroke oil in there any other suggestions? she only drove it home less then a mile! he also had a couple of choice words for her as well.

siphon out what you can then maybe fill it the rest of the way back up with diesel. That may work. a small amount of gasoline wont hurt anything if its diluted alot. Thats why i would never let a GF drive my truck, or at least never put fuel in it.

Yeah Drain it, I would also drain the fuel bowl and add diesel too it, to make sure it starts on diesel... Then best you can do is put some treatment and lost of diesel in it...

Yeah but it sucks when you let the GF drive it and she brings it back on E... I tried warning a lady once at a sams club that the truck was diesel, and she told me to shut up, I watched it get towed away when I came out of the store

Cob, I have a friend who teaches at the Highschool in fostoria.. small world

I had a buddy put E-85 in his dodge 3500. wasnt paying attention and they had switched the pump from diesel to the ethanol stuff. We got over there drained it out, put some cleaner in it and topped it off with diesel and it ran fine.
