detailed no start with scanner and experience
truck died on hwy and wouldnt re start after a couple weeks of warm hard starts and no CEL that I rember . got truck home and pulled p1119 p0237 p1280 p0603 codes , 1st went to icp and oil was in the plug and around the area so replaced it no VOLTAGE out 5v going in . read enough about the cps I figured why not just replace and have spare , also 2 850cca fresh batterys ,and AIT was replaced. I have the Edge evo programmer so unhooked every plug and disconected brain but that would explain the map code , p0603 im told is not to much to worry about ,cleared codes and nothing returned
truck starts cold with a 5-7 sec crank and not quickly like usual , Scanner says IPR duty cycle at crank is 18 and 1200 psi and quickly drops to 15 and 950 psi 30 sec into warmup and sits for 3-4 min then slowly both slowly drop , 4-5min later into warm up it drops to 10-12 % duty cycle and 600-650 psi , then ipr even goes as low as 8-9% and 500 psi then it starts running like crap and stalls say 15-17min. If at any time I hit the skinny pedal fast and hard 2500 rpm and a 4-5 lb boost blip the icp reads up to 1700psi and if I throw it in gear with brakes on I can hit 2200 without trying to lay rubber . after as little as 3-4 min of running if I shut it off it will not re start , during cranking the ipr duty cycle jumps 22-30-36-45-55-65 and hold's but pressure never climbs just jumps to 170psi no matter how long i crank , wait 30 sec and crank reads 300psi , wait 30 sec crank 150psi no movement so I jumped 12v to the ipr and cranked nothing and no click or anythign so i replaced it after making sure nut was good and tested coil thinking it was sticking , made no diff same results now I assume my only 2 options are to dead head the HPOP and remove valve covers and check for injector O ring leaks. Injectors were replaced at a reputable shop 10k ago
truck has 300kms
I dont have tools to dead head pump and it will read fine 2200psi and then not start 30 sec later ? am i heading in the right direction ?
