95' 7.3l f250 Belt sqeak..burning..batt light?!

So im new to my 95' f250 7.3l powerstroke (owned for almost a month) had a cold snap last week..noticed a sqeaking..figured belt..it was on and off for awhile..tonight i go to start her up..weird unusual rough idle..smelled rubber burning..belt went crzy sqeaking..batteery light came on...then i shut her down..popped the hood..(was dark W/ ****ty flashlight) but the belt seemed in tack..but i touched the belt where it wraps around alt pulley and it was hotter than ever..little chunks of belt debris as well..soo bad pulley/belt..? help....thanks!!

I would take the belt off and turn each pulley by hand to see if you feel undue resistance. And if the belt tensioner bearing is going, it can cause the belt to cross it and the previous and subsequent pullies in the rotation at an angle causing poor contact and fast wear. A seizing bearing on any other accessory or pulley will cause the belt to be dragged over the others by the rotating force of the crank. Good luck, and may it be something inexpensive !
