Alternator Surge
Hey guys,
I replaced my alternator about 6 months ago and everything has been fine until today. As I was driving to the fire station this morning I noticed that my volt meter was bouncing between 14 & 16... It wasn't just the meter because I also noticed my headlights were getting bright then dim at a rate of about 2-3 times per second. My power inverter also shut down due to the power surges. No codes were thrown but I'm worried that I'm going to lose another alternator and get stranded again. Anybody seen something like this before? Thanks, Joshua |
