2002 F250 7.3L no start, dead batterys- need answer quick!

02 7.3L, battery light on with out key in the ignition! Dead batterys and no start. Anyone have any ideas??

Newer batterys

First, are the batteries really "dead" (or low) or is it just acting like they are?

Second, go disconnect the Alt and see if that light goes off...

Will a bad alternator make that light come on without the keys in the ignition?

I'm not sure but, why wouldn't you try and see?

Again, have you tested the batteries to know they're really dead? (did you have a draw or is the power that might be there not getting you want)

Low voltage can do strange things, have you looked at the fuseable link connector next to the airbox? (a common problem connection on an '02)

Could it be as simple as the Ign Sw?
