Urgent...White +Black Smoke low boost and struggling

2004 F250 6.0 Harley Davidson

The truck started not buildling boost and started to blow black smoke!!!

Pulled over and the coolant tank was dry filled it and fired up the truck and it blew white smoke and went back dead.

Tried it again and this time it crank and was driveable but with a struggling pass it finally smoothed out but with no power and 5-8psi of boost on the gauge blowing black smoke the whole time and puffs of white at idle?

I have it sitting at Ford now where my best friend in a mechanic but should we take the banks ottomind, ram air intake, and cold air kit off of it before the truck shop looks at it tomorrow?

Will the banks stuff void my warranty?

What does this sound like EGR cooler or head gasket?

What does it take to get the head gaskets changed under warranty?

If it is the gaskets i am gonna get a set of ARP, a EGR bypass and coolant filter kit for the reassymbly of the thing? Any other suggestions!

I agree, welcome to the org and fill out your sig...... it does sound like a HG or an EGR cooler....and that banks stuff will not void the warranty....i suggest taking it off anyway

Have you had any "hydro-lock" type issues? Hard cranking? I'm thinking of headgaskets but ford should find it if they run a power balance and they are able to find what cylinder is dropping off. One 6er I was working on would barely crank over after pressurizing the cooling system, thats how bad the HG's were, it would hydro lock that easy.

have not had any hydro locking issues that i know of? Jus the instance i spoke of above!
