Stuck on the side of the highway!

Stuck on the side of the right now guys...

Truck has had a bad surge between 55-75 mph for a week or so now. Surged a little bit at idle too.

Well all of a sudden the truck died and here I am right now 30 miles from home in my truck with the hood up and no one answering the phone....

I unplugged the icp sensor and tried to start it but it's still a crank with no start. I have an SCT livewire but it wasn't reading any codes.

My fuel light just came on as it died so I don't think that's the problem.

So... Uh help please?

Bryan (goes by the screen name Tuscany) is down that way. Have you tried giving him a call?

Never thought to try that so I just tried but my battery is too low to have it load.

Well right now I'm at least an hour probably more than that north of him. I might as a last resort.

Did you run them down pretty quick trying to start it? Or that may be your issue and your truck shut down due to low Ficm voltage.

Well my radio stays on for 5 minutes after you turn the key. I only tried starting it 3 times or so.

And I will go ahead and rule out the ficm because I have the bulletproof diesel 6 phase.
