Unhappy Intermittent loss of power 2000 e-350 - help!

Brand new to this forum and hoping someone can help! We are on a road trip from California hoping to get to Vermont, currently in Nevada. When we were going up the mountains the van began shuddering and losing power. We only had biodiesel in the tank and it was cold so we thought maybe it was gelling fuel. We managed to make it to a gas station, it started running normal, we put in regular diesel and kept going. Ran normal for another couple of hours, did it again, ran rough for a bit then seemed to work itself out. Repeated that one more time, so we decided to stop for the night and check it out in the morning. This morning we replaced the fuel filter at the suggestion of a mechanic, but every time we would get the van up to 65 it would shutter, lose power, run rough and take about 5-10 min to get back to normal. Driving around town was no problem.
We took it to a mechanic, they ran codes and checked fuel and oil pressures, ended up replacing the ISP sensor, test drove it up to 80mph, no problems, all good. So we left thinking it was fixed, ran great for about an hour then going up a small pass (6000 ft), it did it again. It's back to normal and running ok again now, but we have no idea what is wrong or when/if it will happen again. Any ideas or help greatly appreciated! Sorry for the long post. Thank you!!
