I have a 2008 f250 with the 6.4, 90,000 miles. Today on my way home from work I noticed it was making a weird noise when accelerating at about half throttle. I pulled over popes the hood and noticed that the air filter wasent getting enough air I put it in the right position and then noticed my radiator was leaking I'm getting a new radiator tomorrow. The noise stopped when I fixed the air filter I'm just trying to find out if that's what was making the noise
