Unhappy 6.0 head studs

I believe that my head gaskets are gone on my 6.0L. I am blowing coolant out of the resivore and I donot get hot or blow white smoke. My question is has any one taken their truck into the dealer for warrinty work and were they willing to install studs for you if you purchaced the studs yourself?

a lot of guys have, really all depends on the dealer. If it is coming out of the overflow tank, the first thing they will prob do is place a sticker on the tank with a lower 'full' line.

If you're not overheating or blowing white smoke, it might not be the heads. Mine blows coolant and I just toasted my second EGR cooler. Soon to be replaced with a bypass.

As for the dealer doing to studs, it all depends on the dealer and if they are willing. Some will, some won't touch a truck with an intake.

ill clear that up

egr cooler = white smoke out of the exhaust, can puke from tank also , loss of coolant without external leak

head gasket = puking from tank , and thats pretty much it
