2006 6.0 fuel pressure issues

Ok im needing help, my truck runs fine when im driving conservatively but when i go WOT around 3000rpm it begins to spudder, i used to be able to light up the tires no problem and now i cant. Ford dealership says i might have a fuel leak and then something about the high pressure fuel pump, the problem is i dont have $500+ just to "figure" out whats wrong with it before i spend money to actually fix it. Please i need something here to get me started

Info on the truck
-2006 6.0L
-100,000miles
-SCT Flash Ford Programmer
-Straight pipe stacks
-Blue Spring upgrade

ok ill start there, i forgot to mention that my fuel pressure fluctuates when im at idle, bounces from 50-65psi, before any of this started after the blue spring i was running around 65-70psi relatively steady

Have you recently or do you run your tank fairly low? Over last summer I ran it low a couple times and after that my pump was fine while normal driving but if I went past 1/2 throttle while tuned the pressure would drop below 40 and would start to sputter. Tried filters and blue spring with no change.... Put a new fuel pump in and now it's good. I think "starving" the pump(making it work harder and/or sucking air) made it weak... If I ran stock programming it ran fine no matter how I drove. But tuned it would sputter. I would try the filters first and also return to stock and test it out. If it runs fine on stock my bet is on your fuel pump.
