reconditioned turbo now problems

i reconditioned my turbo, whoever said it was an easy job should be shot! it's a ***** getting it to mount back up. Any who when I crank the truck It sounds like i have an exhaust leak I elt around the down pipe and feel nothing. based solely on whats coning out of my exhaust sound i can hear the turbo whistle like normal. I know the center shaft spun freely as it was the first thing i checked when i put it back together and the last thing i checked before I bolted up the sir filter. The unison ring and actuator both showed very little wear and moved freely prior to assembly. I replaced both O-rings on drain tube and gasket up top. was i supposed to fill the turbo back up with oil prior to installing the fill line?


What should i check to diagnose this problem. i don't want to ruin the turbo.
Please help as i'm riding my bike till this gets resolved.

Do not need to fill with oil before hand.

Check your uppipes... hardest part of the whole job.
