Question 03 6.0 with bad lag on take off

hey fellas new to the forum ive readed several post on 6.0 problems . over the weekend i pulled the turbo & intake to block off egr cooler put everthing back together new intake gasket & o-rings. well it maded & inprovment but i noicted when taking off form a dead stop its like it had a case of bad turbo lag. also take the turbo a part to clean the unicon ring & vane but wasnt really dirty. any ideas or cause any help is better then me sratching my head & replacing this an that cause i hate changing parts &it not fix the problem any help would greatful thanks bitty.

put a aftermarket turbo. made a big difference on my 04
