Exclamation 6.0 no start, bad ficm was replaced still no start

so a couple days ago my '06 6.0 f350, with a remote start rest is stock, it took a little longer to start... like 2-3 seconds longer. the other morning i went out and it cranked like a champ but no start... so i tested the ficm, it was bad. so i replaced it and i am still getting a no start situation. is there something that could have gone bad because of the ficm going out? or am i just ankle deep into a head high search for the answer? i have to get it figured out fast because i leave in 3 weeks and will be gone for 9 months and my wife will need the truck in the winter.
