97 stroker wont crank

I have a 97 powerstroke. while driving it has stalled out and shutoff and wont crank back up. ive checked the pcm fuses and the fuel bowl heater everything is still good need batteries so I replaces them. also when I crank on it the wait to start light does not come on. somebody please help me is it a blown pcm or is it a simple fix that I can do.

Check the PCM power relay, it's either the PCM or wiring most likely. Check voltage to ground on the CPS harness side KOEO, middle pin 5v, outer one is 12v and the other outer is ground (don't know which is which), then ohm the three to ground. The ground should be low resistance 5 ohms or less and the other two should be high 1k or better. That will check the 12 and 5v ref coming from the pcm. You will prob have to find a friend with a good pcm to troubleshoot much further.

The PCM isn't running. No WTS means it's not "alive". In most cases, that means a fuse...

Start with #19 under the hood, but check them ALL twice

Check all the fuses in the cab as well, not sure if that matters or not but heck, might as well. You may not be making connection at the fuse box either, test all the underhoods for continuity while removed and make sure ther're seated well. Theres a diode in there too, not sure what it does though.

Without a WTS light, you're Never gonna start. The PCM isn't functioning

So, you could go to the PCM connector and confirm it has the power & ground in the pins it's supposed to, then call the PCM "dead"...

If you jiggle something electronic and something happens thats generally where your prob is. On the diagram im looking at fuse 2 goes to the 215 A ambulance alt only?? If by chance you meant fuse 22 that IS the PCM relay coil fuse (and the infamous fuel bowl heater...), Fuse 22 feeds the diode which feeds the pcm power relay coil. Was the click the PCM power relay?? Do you have 12V on the coil and contact side of the PCM relay when the key is in run?
