No Start Hot

all the injectors were replaced from then on the truck wont start when the motor has run. have to wait till it cools before it will start. any thoughts?? Oh the truck is a 05 about 100k not mine my Dads. Thanks Curtis

Starter heat soak would be my first guess... but Marc won't be around for a while. 100k on an 05 geez!!!

This is what I found when doing search...

Hard start hot is usually an indication of a high pressure oil system concern.... The pump and branch tubes have been changed for 05 and we are seeing the odd concern with them... oil leaks at the branch tube fitting, failed pumps...
if your problem is a leak in the high pressure oil system it will worsen. This means that eventually the truck wont start at all or worse, the leaking seal will completely fail while driving. This will cause a sudden stall at any time - usually very inconveniently and possibly dangerously.

the 5th of Southern Comfort I'm drinking right now its an oil pump. Seen it to many times!

I was gone for 9 days on my hunting trip...thats what happened to me

I would almost bet on it the teflon o ring in the quick connect at the HPOP has failed. There is a TSB on it....
