7.3 using oil HELP PLEASE!
Im new to this diesel thing. I have an 02 F-250 with only 140000 on it. I carried it to a shop to have it looked at because its using oil. when the mechanic took the value cove off it said the motor was a 99 model it had the yellow writing on it from the junk yard. So their aint no telling how many miles this motor has on it. I need to know where i can get a good 7.3 from or how much it cost to rebuild 1? I cant justify paying $10,000 dollars 4 a new motor. Please TELL me where & ur opion on this! Its using about 1 gal. ever 1000 miles. How much long do u think it will last?
