Yep, Another Thread About My Surging, Important This Time

Well my slight surging has now got more pronounced when cold and acts up at a wider range of engine speeds. The engine light came on wednesday or thursday and I tried 2 code readers. Neither one could connect. I am taking it to the dealer tomorrow for warranty claim. My question is I have the high idle mod and I am not sure if that should be disconnected or left in place. Can they deny the claim for that reason? The reason I ask is because it is almost like the high idle kicks in for a fraction of a second. I don't want them saying it is that messing it up.

Man, i don't know about that, i think anytime you have a mod like that they COULD use it against you. Just my opinion.

Yeah, I think I would hide or take out anything that you might think would give them a reason to void the warranty. I think it is better safe than sorry.
