6.0 wont shut off?

2006 6.0

I dont run it very often, but started it up today to exercise it. I went to shut it down, but it stays running - key out and all. The batteries were a little low when I started it, but its been running for about an hour. I saw somewhere that maybe the batteries would be dead? I'm going to let it run for another hour, then pull the fuse for the fuel pump if it doesn't shut down. Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance!

I have actually read here the .org where an edge programmer was the culprit, I see in teh sig you have SCT livewire, maybe try taking that off after you shut it down with the fuse???

Sorry, it's actually stock. That was my old one... I did have a tuner on it, but i have it removed for some time now.

I did shut it down. I pulled a random relay and got it to stop. I tried it again, by starting it up. Started up fine, but then still would not shut down. Pulled the relay again. The fuel pump stays running for about 10 seconds or so afterwards, then it also shuts down.

I'm thinking its not the batteries because it started up fine, and it has dual alternators, so it should charge rather quickly.

i read one other thread here on the org and one person said it may be the ICP sensor. I talked to my dad, and he had a spare one (used, but who cares to try). Well sure enough, it worked. It shuts right off now. I tried it a few times just incase.
