dont run good seems like short on fuel

i have a 99 f350 7.3l with a stage 2 intake and 4inch turbo back exhaust i had the fuel pump that is mounted on the frame go out recently i replaced that and drove the truck for about 1000 miles and now it seems like the truck is not getting enough fuel at start up truck blows white /gray smoke and has a rough idle while driving it it stiil runs rough and sometimes it will die and not start for hours any suggestion would be grate full

get the codes pulled is the first place i would go.

i checked for codes did not get any but the codes were checked with the engine off
