04 F250 6.0L About to tow from the local Ford Service center
I'm not a motor head by any means, but I love my truck. I'm looking for straight answers that I don't feel I'm getting from the service center.
EGR delete performed before I took ownership. Truck was running a little rough, and not much power right at start up. Died on me a week ago, took it to dealership service center (no warranty) and codes showed 1&5 injectors needed replaced. They replaced and test drove, truck died, hydro locked and codes showed #7 went out. When I asked service manager if he recommended replacing all in that bank prior to the replacement he said, no, but he'd seen some go out shortly after in other cases. I know NOW that I should have replaced all, but I fear that I may be looking at a bent rod and/or cylinder damage. Can anyone tell me what I may actually be looking at to get Hoss running again?
