broke down HELP

Supposed to be leaving for trip. Camper hooked up and truck starts cutting out. Buddy runs scantool and #1 injector dropping out. Its bad. We just put in 155/stock nozzles. Don't have an extra one of those but have a stock injector.

Can I yank that 155 out an put in a stock injector and go on my trip????

Wife, kids, dogs staring at me wondering if we gonna have to miss our trip.

Any one know if this will be ok?

Jim

THANKS THANKS FOR ANY HELP!!!!!!

yea you can put the stock in but it wont run good at all. i dont recall the stock injector size off the top of my head but i can tell you, you wont want to run it long at all. if at all.

think stock is 130cc or 135cc. but they both have stock tips, so it should be dumping at the same rate. I just figured it cant run worse than the burnt injector.

Jim

Thanks for the input so far.

Any one else?

Just to follow up in case anyone else has this issue.

I did put the stock one in and it worked. I would say it runs good, but it didn't cause any issues over the 1500 miles I had to use it for on our trip.

Thanks to those who gave input.

Jim

Thanks for following up and letting us know, Jim. Any idea what caused the issue with the 155 injector? Is it being rebuilt now?

Not positive. The electronics were bad and swapped them for the ones off one we were replacing. It ran for about a day then went bad. Maker felt we may have tightened screw on top too right. I really don't think so. I think it may had more of an issue than the electronics from the beginning.

Yup it's being rebuilt. They have been great about replacing it without question.
