Harpoon mod need help in a hurry

I got the tank out and sending unit out do I cut the vent hose while its still attached to the tank or is there a way to remove the vent hose. thanks

You basically just use a pvc tubing cutter. Either the spinning type or the scissor type will work. Make sure you leave at least 1" to 1.5" and don't cut it off flush.
