Help for a newbie EGR

Hello all I have a F250 super duty crew cab FX4 6.0 and I am having trouble with code 0401. I have replaced the EGR And the check engine light comes on again and again after clearing the code. I will be replacing the DPFE sensor today and hoping for the best. If this should fail does anyone have any other advice???? Thank you in advance

first of all, the 6.0 doesn't use a DPFE so don't buy one of those... check for air leaks from air filter to turbo, dirty MAF sensor, bad Ex. press. sens., after market air filter assy... any other codes?
