Exclamation 1995 7.3 major oil loss!

I was drivin my 95 7.3 today and had no issues. Parked it and came back about 30 minutes later and found about 1 gallon of oil on the ground ive been told that its the rear main engine seal but ive also heard thats highly unlikely. Any ideas as to where this oil could be comin from?????

Several things it can be, look on top of the engine under the turbo, and see if there's oil there. It could be your turbo pedestal o rings, ebpv, high pressure oil lines, fuel pump, or the hpop. If you search the forums, there are a lot of discussions on all the above. Good luck, oil leaks are never fun, I just cleaned my driveway after having to fix my turbo pedestal o rings a couple weeks ago.

More than likely the plug on the back of the HPOP has blown an o-ring. Its is extremely common and you loose oil very fast. It is a very easy fix if that is the problem.
