911/ NO START, NO TACH, NEW CPS, NO CODES

THIS IS THE 1ST TIME I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO FIX BY JUST READING THIS SITE OR HAYNES MANUAL. STARTED UP 2 WKS. AGO TO WARM UP, RAN 5MINS. AND DIED. WHEN I TRIED TO RE-START TACH DID NOT REG. ,SO I INSTALLED MY SPARE CPS FROM GLOVE AND JUST KNEW I WOULD BE ON MY WAY SHORTLY. I GUESS I'M NOT AS SMART AS I THOUGHT I WAS,BUT I REALLY NEED MY ONLY VEHICLE RUNNING. I LIKE TO HAVE A SPARE SO I PURCHASED ANOTHER ONE TO MAKE SURE I HAD A GOOD ONE ,STILL NO START/NO TACH/NO HIGH PRESSURE FUEL .I LIVE ON SSI. AS MY ONLY INCOME AND CAN'T AFFORD TO CALL A WRECKER OR PAY SOMEONE ELSE TO FIX IT. CAN ANYONE GIVE ME ANY CLUES OF WHAT MIGHT BE WRONG? COULD MY PCM BE THE PROBLEM SINCE I HAVE NO CODES DISPLAYED? I HOPE NOT, BECAUSE IF IT IS MY ONLY CHOICE IS SCRAP THE POWERSTROKE AND REPLACE IT WITH A TURBO 4B CUMMINGS / C6 TRANS OUT OF A RETIRED BREAD TRUCK I USE FOR A STORAGE BUILDING. IT HAS NO COMP. OR SENSORS TO DEAL WITH. THAT WOULD BE ALOT OF WORK THAT I REALY DON'T WON'T TO DO,SO I HOPE SOMEONE CAN HELP.

EARLY '99/ WAIT TO START DOSE WORK/FUSES-RELAYS OK

I LIVE IN WEST MONROE, LOUISIANA. SSI. MEANS SUPPORTTING A FAMILY OF 5 ON $1286.00/MONTH WITH 1 CHILD IN COLLEGE= NOT MUCH FUN WHEN PREVIOUS INCOME AVG. WAS $1200-$1500/WEEK. BUT I DO HAVE A PLAN AS SOON AS I CAN SAVE A LITTLE CASH. I WOULD LIKE TO MOVE TO MEXICO FOR 6 MONTHS TO ESTABLISH RES. AND THEN SNEAK BACK ACROSS THE BORDER AS AN ILLEAGEL ALIEN SO I CAN TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE US GOV. PROGRAMS I DON'T QUALIFY FOR AS A DISABLED AMERICAN CITIZEN. I KNOW THIS SOUNDS SAD,BUT IF YOUR NOT RETIRED YET YOU WILL UNDERSTAND WHEN YOU DO. AND WITH OUR CHOICES OF FUTURE PRESIDENTS I SEEING IT GETTING MUCH WORSE BEFORE IT GETS ANY BETTER.
