New ficm no start help

Put a new ficm in today and it reads no volts when I put my voltage meter on the right terminal(of 4). Key turn on position and cranking, nothing. I removed and reinstalled about 6 times to make sure no pins bent and to make sure contact was good. The ficm is pre programmed. Any ideas? (2006 6.0l)

Did you check the FICM relay under the hood to make sure it's installed properly?

Inside the Battery Junction Box under the hood on the drivers side next to the the ABS control module. One of the square relays in the corner in the box. The relay number is 304

I did do some research on it. Not sure how to test it. Just swing by the store in the morning a get one. Anyway to test just the relay? Or just get a new relay to see if it does the trick? Could I have blown it while changing out the ficm?

Ok. The relays work. They click. I pulled all the factory wrap off the wire and did a really good visual and condutivity test and re-rapped after installing again with same problem. I'm thinking its probably a bad rebuilt ficm.

Anything else I should look for? I also checked battery connectors and grounds to everything I could find.

Where'd you get the FICM? Try giving them a call and see if they know what might be wrong.

I got it from a local store. It's a remanufactured unit from G B remanufacturing. I did find the phone number for them and will try in the morning when they are open. Thank you for your help so far. I'll let everyone know heats up tomorrow.

Ok. Still nothing. Went a traded other for new and same problem. Checked for chaffing(non) replaced relay and fuse(nothing). What pin locations should have constant power to them? I have two with constant and two others have 1.6v and one has 3.4v. I don't know what to try from here. Any advise would be great. Thank you again for your help so far.

Man, I sure wish I was a FICM expert. I'm sure someone, hopefully one of the ford techs will chime in here shortly.

does your ficm make a fast clicking noise "communicating with the injectors" if it's not making the clicking aka buzzing the ficm is bad.but you said you don't have power correct
if thats the case the wire is broken some where.
