I'm in a pickle again

Ok, after 4 weeks of no problems at all, I have an major oil leak again coming from under the HPOP. I bought a new gasket and put it on, fired it up and at idle it doesn't leak, but taking it up to about 2500-3000 rpm, I get a steady stream filling up the valley. I dumped about 2.5 gallon of oil out yesterday in about 10 miles. Is it possible that the timing chain cover is cracked causing this? Or have I possibly missed something else that could cause this.

Thanks again for all the help.

Tennessee,

I just put all new o-rings in the IPR, and a new pump gasket in the front just a month ago, it's dumping it now worse than it was before I did the work on it then. I thought it was coming from the pump gasket maybe, but it's not, it's coming from the bottom middle of the pump (or somewhere in that area)

There are other ports under the fuel lines you might want to check. At idle/after losing 2gallons/or just sitting you won't see anything but a small drip that you won't be able to see move.

At idle I don't see anything, I dried out the valley and when I had someone run it up to around 2500 sitting, it started pouring out from under the pump near the reservior right in the middle of the pump, nothing from the oil lines, or from the fuel lines.

there is a plug (18 or 19mm standard hex head) on the back of th pump sealed with an o ring. when it leaks, it usually druips back towards the front and then off of the pump. i bet this is what is leaking on yours
