2006 6.0 no power

I have an E 450 with the 6.0 with over a hundred thousand miles on her.i recently replaced the electric clutch fan.The wires got sucked into the fan and tore them up.I took the van out for a test drive and on the way back I heard a pop and lost power.I stopped and couldn't see anything. I headed back to the shop and no power and some white smoke.Next day i started the rig up and tried to accelerate and it would go but like a snail and some white smoke.Plwase give me an idea what could this be . Thanks

Check the rubber boots on the boost tubes. Sounds like you popped one.
