Question Most common cause of fuel leak in the 6.0?

2006 F250 Lariat 6.0 diesel turbo.

Truck runs fine, but it has started leaking diesel fuel while runnning. It will leak for about 10 minutes after shut off, then stop. But it leaks enough to run all the way down the driveway past the end of the bed.

Can't really find where it's coming from, other than somewhere in the engine compartment. It is dripping down off the tranny. What are the easy things I should start looking for before taking it into the shop.

Thanks in advance.

look at your fuel filter housing by the oil filter check all of the lines that go into the housing it is a common issue for them to leak there..

Thx! It's times like these that I miss my old '83 Chevy C30. Enough room in the engine bay to hang a hammock and you could see everything.

On the front of the fuel filter housing there is a fuel pressure regulator housing that has a key hole looking gasket that is prone to leaking on the 6.0. I have changed several over the years.
