i need help! i got in my 1996 7.3 truck today after work and started it up normally to day and once it started, it dipped in the rpms while idleing for a second then it picked up and then it dipped again this time the rpm low enouph that i put my foot on the gas peddle to pick up the rpms and then it cleared up. after leting it idle for a few minutes i put it in gear and starting driving down the road and then i let off on the gas peddle and came up to a stop light then the idle dipped again and this time it went low enough to were the truck croaked and died. so then i put it in park and restart it and it starts rough just enough to run roughly to get it on the side of the road and then it wont restart. then i wait a minute and restart it and it starts with a rough idle and dies off again and wont restart and then i wait a minute again and it restarts with a rough idle again and dies again.
i had it towed to my house and i need it for work tommarrow if possible!
please help
